LOCATION: Angel Island, CA (2016)

ICBI was responsible for the replacement and historical restoration of the interior lath and plaster ceilings and walls on the first and second floor of this 10,630 sq. ft. building.

The ICBI team used metal lath to support the Structo-Base Gypsum Plaster with a Diamond Veneer Finish on the interior of the 2nd-floor multi-use room, hallways, elevator vestibules, and multiple exhibits throughout the USIS Hospital.

Using tried-and-true techniques developed by the ICBI team, the interior lath and plaster ceilings were replaced while leaving much of the building’s historic character.

Because of our team’s quality craftsmanship, ICBI was presented the Wall and Ceiling Alliance’s Project of the Year Interior Award for 2016.
